This bag is sturdy, compact, and meets my needs. I use it as a waist pack and a cross-body bag. For both uses the strap stays in place. The rear compartment fits a US passport nicely, but I doub't it's RFID protected. Putting too much in there will rip the stitching as some have noticed. I like the locking zippers, the fact that they work in opposite directions, and the locking clasp on the strap/belt. I haven't used the bottle holder and may cut it off to use the compartment for storage of small things. This bag is great but there are trade-offs. It doesn't hold everything. You can overload it. You can rip it. It holds my phone (a big Galaxy Fold4), my passport & important cards, face mask (when people are coughing near me), some cash, boarding pass, and a few odds and ends. I am happy with it. It was made in China. Good quality.
