I don't like using a purse, so this small bag is perfect for times I am carrying more than I can fit in my pockets. It feels like part of me because it fits close enough to the body that it doesn't bang around like bigger bags. I thought the zipper locks would be difficult to use. After a few uses, I found them easy to open and close. I carried this purse traveling in several European cities known for high rates of pickpocketing, and I felt quite safe with my passport, my phone, and my wallet zipped in and locked. I even wore it sitting in my airplane seat, keeping my things close at hand. the strap is particularly soft and doesn't bind. The only caution I would have is this is made to carry on the left side. If you are left-handed, you might want to choose another bag.
